FOR-PROFIT SERVICE. The Black Book (racer.wiki) is operated by G10be, a for-profit commercial enterprise. It is NOT a charity, nonprofit, or 501(c)(3) organization. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The Black Book is a for-profit AI-powered crew chief tool for dirt track racing. It is built and operated by G10be (Lyle Gilcoat, Amarillo, Texas). The service provides race setup recommendations, weather analysis, gear calculations, surface science tools, an AI crew chief named Hunter Crank, and user-generated live streaming via Pit Reporter.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission. Users under 13 may not create accounts. If you are a parent setting up The Black Book for a child under 13, you are doing so on their behalf as their guardian.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) including the 2025 amendments effective April 22, 2026. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such collection, we will delete it within 30 days.

| Car data (class, chassis, engine, notes) | Setup recommendations, Hunter context | Supabase (your account only) |
| Race session data (track readings, weather, jetting, gear calls) | Session history, Hunter pattern analysis | Supabase (your account only) |

Zero-knowledge design: Your setup data, race history, and car data are protected by row-level security. No other user — and no G10be employee — can read your data. We technically hold it but cannot access it without breaking into our own database, which we do not do.
The Backup/Restore feature creates an encrypted export of your garage data. Backup files use AES-GCM 256-bit encryption with HMAC signature verification. These files cannot be read by anyone except The Black Book's own import system. They are not human-readable. They cannot be modified without detection. Each file contains a one-time nonce — it cannot be imported twice.
Backup files expire after 90 days. Store them somewhere safe — we cannot recover a lost or corrupted .bbx file.
Hunter Crank is an AI, not a human crew chief. In compliance with the California BOT Disclosure Act (SB 1001) and subsequent amendments, all Hunter Crank interactions are disclosed as AI-generated. Hunter is powered by Anthropic Claude.
Hunter's recommendations are based on publicly available racing knowledge, physics models, and the data you provide. Hunter is a starting point, not a final answer. You and your crew chief make the call at the track.
IMPORTANT: THE BLACK BOOK PROVIDES INFORMATIONAL CONTENT ONLY.
Setup recommendations, jetting advice, gear calls, and all other content from The Black Book and Hunter Crank are for informational and educational purposes only. They are NOT professional engineering advice, certified mechanical recommendations, or safety-certified specifications.
Racing is inherently dangerous. Always consult your chassis manufacturer, engine builder, and experienced crew chief before making setup changes. G10be assumes NO liability for mechanical failures, accidents, injuries, or any harm resulting from reliance on content provided by The Black Book or Hunter Crank.
You acknowledge that you race at your own risk. You acknowledge that setup data is highly track-specific, condition-specific, and driver-specific. A setup that works for one driver on one track on one night may be unsafe or counterproductive in different conditions.
The Black Book includes Pit Reporter, a user-generated live video streaming feature. By using Pit Reporter as a reporter or viewer, you agree to the full Pit Reporter & Live Streaming Terms in addition to these terms. Key points:
Free tier: available to all users. Paid tiers (Pit Pass, Crew Chief, Team Owner) provide additional car slots and features. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime — no prorated refunds for the current billing period. We do not store your payment card details.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion: your email and PIN hash are deleted within 30 days; your car data and race logs are deleted within 30 days; payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law. Download your backup before deleting — we cannot recover deleted data.
You may not use The Black Book to: scrape or harvest data; attempt to access other users’ data; reverse-engineer the Hunter Crank AI system; resell access; use automated bots or scripts; stream prohibited content via Pit Reporter (see Live Streaming Terms); or engage in any activity that disrupts the service or harms other users.
THE BLACK BOOK IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, G10BE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE BLACK BOOK SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO G10BE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Disputes resolved by binding arbitration via AAA in Amarillo, Texas (or remote). Class action waiver. Claims under $1,000: G10be pays arbitration fees. Governing law: State of Texas.
We may update these terms with 30 days notice for material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
