What we collect

We do not sell your personal data.

How we use data

Location

We do not request location on first launch. Race-night alerts use approximate location only after you opt in (Settings). Pocket Telemetry uses precise GPS only while you run an active logging session. Location is stored in your account, not sold or shared with other users unless you choose to publish content publicly.

Live / Go Live / Pit Reporter

Opt-in live audio or video broadcasts may be delivered to fans on racer.wiki. Automated controls may mute copyrighted music or pause static video. Broadcasts are not a private chat service.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Account data is stored in secured cloud databases with row-level access tied to your account.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You may delete individual cars in the app (30-day recovery window). To delete your account or request removal of specific data, use racer.wiki/delete-data. We respond within 30 days.

Children

The app is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Terms of use

Racing is dangerous. Hunter Crank and all setup guidance are informational only — not professional engineering or safety advice. You are responsible for verifying every change before you race.

Changes

We may update this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
