The Black Book — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026
Version 1.1 — racer.wiki

This is the Privacy Policy for The Black Book (racer.wiki). For Inkwell.wiki privacy policy, click here.

1. Who We Are

G10be (Lyle Gilcoat, Amarillo, Texas) operates The Black Book at racer.wiki. Contact: support@inkwell.wiki.

2. Data Collected

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

  • Email address — for account management only
  • 6-digit PIN hash — we store the cryptographic hash, never the PIN itself
  • Car and setup data — class, chassis, engine, notes you enter
  • Race session data — track readings, gear calls, weather logs you save
  • Location (GPS) — used in real-time to calculate weather/DA and identify your track. Never stored.
  • Pit Reporter data — reporter name, car, track name, video stream. Video retained 30 days on Cloudflare, then deleted. Viewer counts tracked but not tied to identity.

We do NOT collect: real name, phone number, address, payment card data (handled by Stripe), or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Authenticate your account
  • Deliver Hunter Crank setup recommendations personalized to your car
  • Calculate weather and density altitude for your location
  • Store your race history for session continuity
  • Send password reset emails (when requested)
  • Transmit and temporarily store live streams via Cloudflare Stream

We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. AI Processing

Your messages to Hunter Crank and the context about your car are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. Anthropic does not retain your data for model training per their enterprise data processing terms. Your race data stays in our Supabase database — only the specific context needed for each response is sent to Anthropic per request.

5. Live Stream Video Data

Video streamed via Pit Reporter is transmitted through Cloudflare Stream. We do not operate our own video servers. Cloudflare processes and stores your video stream for up to 30 days before automatic deletion. Cloudflare’s infrastructure may be located outside the United States. By streaming, you consent to this processing. After 30 days, recordings cannot be recovered by G10be or Cloudflare.

We do not store the identities of viewers. Viewer counts are approximate and not tied to any user account or identity.

6. Row-Level Security

Your data is isolated by row-level security policies in Supabase. No other user can query your car data, setup history, or race logs. G10be staff have no routine access to user data. Administrative access exists only for incident response.

7. Children (COPPA)

The Black Book requires users to be 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Pit Reporter reporters must not stream minors without express parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact support@inkwell.wiki and we will delete it within 30 days.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Account data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
  • Race session data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Payment records: retained 7 years per tax law (Stripe holds these)
  • Backup (.bbx) files: stored on your device only — we do not store your exports
  • Pit Reporter video: automatically deleted from Cloudflare 30 days after stream ends
  • Pit Reporter metadata (name, car, track): deleted within 30 days of stream end

To delete your account and all associated data: email support@inkwell.wiki with subject line “Delete My Black Book Account”.

9. Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Use the Backup feature to export. Email us to delete. We respond within 30 days.

10. Service Providers

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting
  • Anthropic — AI inference for Hunter Crank
  • Cloudflare — DNS, routing, DDoS protection, and live video streaming (Cloudflare Stream)
  • Stripe — payment processing (paid tiers)

11. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be communicated via email to registered users 30 days before taking effect.
